UNIBZ – SMART DATA FACTORY

Company

The Smart Data Factory (SDF) of the Faculty of Computer Science at the Free University of Bozen/Bolzano is a specialised laboratory that produces innovative applications for the intelligent collection, processing and analysis of big data. SDF supports the transfer of technologies and knowledge to the public, private and third sectors, within and outside South Tyrol. The application areas include: Tourism, Health, Energy and Environment, Agricultural Technologies and Mobility. SDF promotes collaboration between industry and academia through contract research and/or joint projects in prototyping AI-based solutions, intelligent management and analysis of data, processes and knowledge, monitoring and diagnosis of software systems.
