Founded in 1981, the company today employs around 700 people and, in addition to the development and production of mountain sporting goods, is also active in the retail, wholesale and distribution of general sporting goods brands. The SALEWA brand has been a part of the Oberalp Group since 1990 and has over the years been followed by the brands DYNAFIT, POMOCA, WILD COUNTRY, EVOLV and LAMUNT.
