MIND (Meran.o Innovation District) is an initiative spearheaded by the city of Merano to promote innovation, entrepreneurship and creativity in the Meran area. The range of services includes, amongst others, the MIND Lab, which provides the public with access to modern machinery and tools, and provides school children, start-up companies, amateur enthusiasts, craftspeople, artists and all other interested partis space to conduct their projects and experiments, develop models and produce prototypes. The MIND Lab Community fosters mutual support and teamwork amongst lab users and promotes networking and the creative exchange of skills and ideas.
