Company

The Intercable test laboratory forms part of the Quality Engineering department of the Automotive division. We act as a service provider for the in-house R&D and product development department. Our main task is the validation and metrology of the products developed, testing mainly plastics, metallic materials and assemblies. We are available as in-house technical consultants for testing and measurement tasks and customer enquiries. Our competencies are continuously expanded according to customer needs and supplemented by a network of external institutions. The Intercable testing laboratory has been working according to IATF 16949 since 2017 and is aiming for EN ISO/IEC 17025 conformity accreditation for this sector in 2021. Our expertise is reflected in the individual product groups: safety boxes, rails, special parts (battery terminals and plastic parts) and technical cleanliness.
