Danfoss Drives is a global leader in the production of variable speed control systems for electric motors. Ever since 1968 when Danfoss was the first company to mass-produce frequency converters, we have been pioneers in variable-speed drives and digital solutions which set our customers up for success in a rapidly changing world.

With our vast portfolio of frequency converters (0.18 kW to 5.3 MW), grid-converters and purpose-specific services from planning through to implementation, commissioning, service and support, we provide a comprehensive programme which is optimally adapted to a wide variety of applications and requirements.

Our headquarters in Burgstall, near Meran cover 7,000 m2 and are home to our production premises and our highly specialised R&D department. Our 90 employees (50% in R&D) today focus on the development and production of highly dynamic servo drives
