Covision Lab is a Brixen (BZ) based research and applications centre which focuses on computer vision and artificial intelligence. Covision Lab was founded in 2019 by seven multinational technology companies with the target of building a bridge between research and industrial practice. Covision Lab is also a company builder, with the objective of founding start-up companies. Covision Quality automates industrial visual inspection, and Covision Media automates the creation of digital twins. We focus on three aspects of computer vision: • Deep learning: image & video analysis • 3D capture: capturing, perceiving and interpreting objects, • people & scenes in 3D • Embedded vision: visual intelligence on powerful processors
