The Civil Protection Agency is a state agency with Provincial jurisdiction and is the central organisation for fire brigade services and protection from natural and technical hazards. Forecasting and prevention of events pertaining to civil protection, promotion of public awareness in matters of self-protection, planning, implementation and coordination of operations in the event of emergencies or disasters, reconstruction of public facilities after such events, improvement of water ecology, management of public water resources.
